At the Aravaikurichi zonal level shuttlecock tournament held today at Punnam Sathiram Cheran Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Pallapatti Higher Secondary School students achieved outstanding success.
In the under-14 category, the team won their first match against Cheran Matric School with a score of 12-8, and triumphed in the final against Aravaikurichi Panchayat Union Middle School by 10-2, thereby qualifying for the district-level competition.
In the under-17 category, the team secured a decisive victory against Aravaikurichi Higher Secondary School with a score of 22-4 in the first match and defeated Cheran Matric School 24-6 in the final, also qualifying for the district-level competition.
In the under-19 category, the team finished as runners-up at the zonal level.
The tournament was inaugurated by Mr. Siva, District Physical Education Officer, Karur.
The students’ achievements were warmly congratulated by the Pallapatti Education Society, the school principal, teachers, office staff, and fellow students.
