The Aravakurichi Zonal Level Beach Volleyball Tournament for the academic year 2025–2026, organized by the Department of School Education, was held today at RN Matric Higher Secondary School, Chinnadharapuram.
For the first time in the history of our school, Pallapatti Higher Secondary School (PHSS) participated in a zonal-level beach volleyball event — and made a remarkable debut by securing the runner-up position.
In the U-19 category, our team started strong with a solid win against GHSS Aravakurichi, scoring 15–7, 15–9 in straight sets.
In the final match, our students faced the host team RN Matric School in a thrilling contest.
- Set 1: PHSS won 18–16
- Set 2: RN Matric leveled the match at 15–12
- Set 3: After a closely fought set, PHSS narrowly lost 15–17
With this incredible effort, PHSS earned second place, bringing pride and recognition to the school.
The students were congratulated and appreciated by the school’s Correspondent, members of the Pallapatti Education Society’s General and Executive Committees, as well as the teaching and non-teaching staff and fellow students of PHSS.
