The Karur District-Level Ball Badminton Tournament brought excitement and fierce competition to Pallapatti Higher Secondary School. Teams from five zones across the district competed, showcasing their skills and determination.
In the Under-14 category, the Pallapatti Higher Secondary School team shone brightly with their outstanding performances:
- They triumphed over Bharathi Metric Higher Secondary School from the Thanthoni zone with scores of 35-17 and 35-12 in the opening match.
- In the semi-finals, they defeated SRM School from the Karur zone with scores of 35-28 and 35-24.
- Finally, in a closely contested final, they emerged victorious against Government High School, Thirukampuliyur, from the Krishnarayapuram zone, with scores of 35-29 and 35-33, earning them a spot in the state-level tournament.
In the Under-19 category, the team also showcased their exceptional talent:
- They began with a strong win against Kulithalai Government Boys Higher Secondary School from the Kulithalai zone, securing scores of 35-18 and 35-19.
- Though they faced tough competition in the finals, they defeated KSV School with scores of 35-27 and 35-29, earning their qualification for the state-level tournament.
