Today, the Aravakurichi zonal level badminton tournament was held at Pallapatti Higher Secondary School (PHSS), where our school students showcased exceptional talent across multiple categories. PHSS proudly secured championship titles in the Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 categories, demonstrating strong performances in both singles and doubles matches.
In addition, at the Karur district sub-junior football team selection trials held at SDAT Stadium, several PHSS students were selected to represent the district in the upcoming state-level tournament at Pudukkottai.
In the girls’ football category, PHSS players earned runner-up positions in Under-14 singles, Under-14 doubles, Under-19 singles, and Under-19 doubles events. Meanwhile, the boys’ teams excelled with championship wins in Under-17 and Under-19 singles, a title in Under-19 doubles, and runner-up status in Under-17 doubles.
These outstanding achievements highlight the dedication and sportsmanship of our students. The school congratulates all the players and wishes them the very best in their future competitions.
